Chopper Twirls Wildly into Palm Trees at Frequented Southern California Beach
A chopper soaring over a popular California coastline abruptly began spiraling out of control, eventually losing altitude and plunging into a row of palm trees as onlookers looked on.
Videos uploaded on social media show the helicopter starting to spin near Huntington Beach then falling towards the edge of the beach, where it ends up lodged among palms and a staircase adjacent to the coastal road.
First Aid Information
Local firefighters stated five persons were rushed to the hospital involving two individuals who were in the helicopter and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” subsequent to the accident on Saturday.
Three people on the road were hurt. Details on their wounds were still under review.
The reason for the accident was not yet disclosed.
